The introduction of project-specific data, such as the activities, duration, resources, relationships, and constraints into the scheduling tool creates a schedule model that is specific to a particular project
- First decide on a Scheduling Method (such as Critical-path method or Critical-chain method).
- Then a Scheduling Tool that is a software like MS Project.
- Feed project data (such as activities, dependencies, resources and duration) into Scheduling Tool to create a Schedule Model.
- The resulting list of activities with start and end dates is the project schedule – against which project work status is periodically compared.
